Confirming the brand’s great challenge to develop large-size vessels without sacrificing sportiness and speed distinguishing the sailing of every Pershing yacht: that’s the spirit of the new Pershing 82’, a contemporary reinterpretation of its successful predecessor, Pershing 80’. 23.99 metres long and 5.50 wide, the latest model designed by Fulvio De Simoni in collaboration with AYT and the Centro Stile Ferrettigroup, offers excellent performance at sea reaching a top speed of 45 knots with a range of 300 nautical miles, thanks to two powerful coupled MTU 16 V 2000 M93 of 2435 mhp (1792 kW) with Searex by SR140S surface drive with Rolla surface propellers.
It features a sleeker and more aggressive profile thanks to the shape of the wider lateral windows which can be opened. The introduction of the sun-deck with an optional retractable helm station, a distinctive feature of the new Pershing fleet, stands out immediately on the Pershing 82’. It is worth noting the staircase which is entirely made of carbon steel, designed together with Besenzoni, and which drops automatically into the cockpit by electro-hydraulic control and automatically disappears upwards when closed.
Below deck, where comfort and design reign, the standard layout has 4 guest cabins (a master suite amidships, a VIP cabin forward and 2 cabins with twin beds), while the optional version has 3 guest cabins and a lounge-cinema room starboard and 2 crew cabins. The well-established partnership with Poltrona Frau, designers of the salon sofas, the pilot house and many other leather furnishings, was also renewed for this model.
